I had just successfully started a church. I had strategically planned every detail of the advertising blitz, rented a civic center, found partners to work with, found a pastor with a heart for church planting, and had a successful launch day with around 60 non-believers in attendance. 

In the fall of 1985, as a sophomore at Baylor University, I took a class, Introduction to Computers, that changed my life by opening my eyes to the wonderful world of computing. Among the many new terms that I learned during that semester, an extremely important term, was “reboot”.

Today, I want to talk about chemistry. That’s right, chemistry.

Do you remember Boaz and Ruth. Now they had chemistry. You know that Boaz was a much better man after he met Ruth.  Before he met her, he was Ruth – less.  Sorry, I couldn’t resist. Slapped my neon that one.
